Thank you for supporting #PROJECT HEALING HANDS

SIZE MATTERS

Great fit = Great protection

The size of your mask will depend mostly on the size of your FACE not your head.  Taking measurements of your face is the best way to determine your Face Mask Size.

Face Mask Size Chart

Using a flexible tape measure, follow the instructions on the illustration above.  If you don’t have a tape measure, mark a string, shoelace or piece of paper and then measure against a ruler.  If you don’t have a ruler, follow this link:

MASK WEAR & CARE

No, you still can’t touch your face.

Make sure to tie your mask firmly and adjust the nose bridge wire (if your model has one) so that there are no gaps around your nose, cheeks and chin.  The better your mask fits, the less likely you are to have to touch it to make adjustments while wearing it.  If you must touch your mask while it is on, please WASH YOUR HANDS before andafter handling your mask and reversing it. Remove your mask by undoing the bottom tie first and then the top tie.Do not touch the front of your mask before or during use.

Once your mask is removed, place it inside a sealed bag until you are ready to wash. These beautiful masks are so simple to clean:  Gently hand wash them each day in warm, soapy water and line dry.

We recommend wearing your mask around the house for a couple of hours to get used to the sensation of wearing it before using it out of the house.

Made with love, please wash gently

Our face masks are made of fine fabrics that are durable and soft on the skin.  Please wash these beautiful creations DAILY in warm soapy water (as you would fine lingerie), rinse in cool water and hand or lie flat to dry.  Giving them a quick press with an iron keeps them looking pristine but this is of course optional.  Drying them flat will help to preserve their shape nicely.

Wearing Face Masks Help Us ALL Help Each Other

With all of the conflicting and confusing information circulating about all-things COVID-19, there is one thing that we can now safely say is a logical, simple and highly effective way to protect ourselves and others from contamination:  Wearing Face Masks. When we all wear them, we are preventing the physical spread of COVID-19 while expressing true compassion for others.

Why?

Because when I wear my mask, I am protecting YOU and when you wear YOURS, you are protecting ME.

It’s that simple - COMPASSION IN ACTION!

The types of materials, design and proper mask fit are critical for effectiveness.  If your mask is too thin or doesn’t cover your mouth and nose snuggly, there is no point in wearing it.

Here are a few tips to follow when selecting a cloth mask to purchase:

  1. Material should be a tightly woven natural fabric
  2. Multiple layers of different natural, breathable fabrics are best
  3. Size Matters:  Your mask should fit over your mouth and nose snuggly
  4. Re-Usable and Washable:   The last thing we all want to do is to add unnecessarily to the already high negative environmental impact.  Choose Re-Usable and Washable natural cloth masks.
  5. Say “NO” to N95’s and surgical masks:   Let’s all do our best to reserve these live-saving PPE’s for healthcare workers who are risking their lives every single day.  Anyway, you don’t need them because Cloth Masks Work!

Now that Face Masks are de rigeur, there is no reason why we shouldn’t embrace this life-saving practice and try to have some fun with it.  Choosing masks with different shapes, colors, styles and designs that compliment your wardrobe and mood will not only look great but will also increase the chances that we will all stay the course and do our part to help reduce the spread of this devastating disease.
